Friends, the situation at the Fairgrounds has stabilized however it is expected that the animals will be there for an extended period of time and that more animals will arrive as well.

We just wanted to reach out about the devastating California fires to help in any way we can to ensure that the workers and families who have lost work/pay are able to collect their unemployment benefits.  

Friends. In an effort to avoid duplication of efforts for the growing needs at the Solano County Fairgrounds they have provided an updated list.

Some 275 volunteers – pilots, mechanics, flight attendants and other workers – took off from Newark International Airport on October 4 on a union-sponsored relief mission to hurricane-smashed Puerto Rico, the AFL-CIO announced.
