Solano County Fairgrounds update

Friends, the situation at the Fairgrounds has stabilized however it is expected that the animals will be there for an extended period of time and that more animals will arrive as well. Right now they need people with construction experience and tools to show up ASAP to assist in making the stables and support structures safe. There has been an incredible outpouring of support from the community but we are not out of the woods yet.

IF YOU HAVE TOOLS AND CONSTRUCTION EXPIERIENCE JUST SHOW UP AND ASK FOR MEL ORPILLA OR CALL HIM DIRECTLY AT 707-477-1159 TO GET MORE DETAILED INFORMATION.

Again, if you want to volunteer or donate supplies please do not just show up but call Animal Control at 707-784-1629 email at  sheriffaco@solanocounty.com   to arraign to be put on the volunteer list or where to drop off supplies. We appreciate all your efforts to help out in this time of need. Stand by for further alerts.

4 inch butt hinges

#12 screws 2 inch

1x4 and 1x6  boards (not redwood)

Cans of white and orange paint

Curb spray paint (upside down type)
