FEMA update

Folks,

Just to update everyone, FEMA has made the determination that Sonoma and Napa counties qualify for Disaster Unemployment Assistance, and we’re told that EDD will soon be posting information on its website about the program, which starts the clock on the 30-day filing period.  We’re still waiting on information from FEMA about the other five counties (Butte, Mendocino, Lake, Yuba, Nevada) that have been declared “major disasters” to determine if they will also qualify for FEMA “individual assistance” in the form of DUA.  If folks have other updates to share with the group, please be sure to do so.  Thank you!

Best,
Maurice
