The labor movement lost a gifted and spirited leader when Edward M. Smith died on January 3, 2024.  Here's a biography documenting his own labor story.

For the 41st year, the Bloomington & Normal Trades & Labor Assembly (AFL-CIO) and the McLean County Chamber of Commerce co-sponsored with local businesses the annual Christmas Party for low-income families.

The Bloomington & Normal Trades & Labor Assembly presented their annual awards at their Holiday banquet on December 6.  Receiving the "Ronn Morehead Service to Labor" award were John Penn (LIUNA 362) and Adam Heenan (The Newspaper Guild/Communications Workers of America Local 4071).
