The East Central Illinois AFL-CIO would like to invite all to the 2026 Labor Day Parade & Picnic in downtown Champaign, Illinois!
Come and celebrate with the people who make America work! This Free event is made possible by the Labor Unions of East Central Illinois.
This year we're partnering with the United Way of Champaign County to bring awareness to Mental Health & Suicide Crisis that affect construction workers at a disproportional rate. Funds raised through Sponsorships will go to the 211 Helpline which anyone can use.

Danville Labor Day 2026 Information
If you're celebrating Labor Day in Danville, there will be a Labor Day Parade there in partnership with the City of Danville! The Danville Labor Day Parade will be held on Monday, September 7th. Parade lineup will begin at 7:30AM, with the parade stepping off promptly at 9:00AM. The lineup will be located at the Hope Unlimited Church parking lot and along Walnut Street. The parade route will travel south on Vermilion Street, beginning at Williams Street and ending at Towne Center.
