ARTICLE VI

OFFICERS, ELECTIONS

Section 1. The officers of the Central Labor Council shall consist of a President, Secretary­ 

Treasurer, seven (7) Divisional Vice Presidents, five (5) trustees, one Sergeant-At-Arms and two

constituency group seats. A Division Vice President shall be elected only by the Division they represent consisting of: Construction, Government, Manufacturing, Transportation, Public Safety, Communication, Sales, Service and Miscellaneous. Where there are no Constituency Groups, the Executive Board shall appoint two additional board members after each election for purposes of diversity subject to the approval of the delegate body. Their terms shall expire at the same time as the other Executive Board members. 

Section 2. All officers shall be elected by the delegates to the Council and serve for a term of four (4) years. 

Section 3. (a) Each Officer, at the time of the election and at all times during the term of office, shall be a duly accredited delegate from his/her affiliated organization. If an officer and/or board member ceases to be a delegate, during the term of office she/he may, at the option of the council complete the term for which it is elected, with voice but without vote.
