Barnes & Noble workers continue contract push

Bloomington's Barnes & Noble workers, organized by the Retail, Wholesale & Department Store Union (AFL-CIO) are still negotiating for a first contract.  On Friday, December 20 they called for a one-day boycott, turning over 80 shoppers away.  Other unions stood with them to show support.   Shown here (left to right) are United Faculty ISU (IFT) members Dr. Keith Pluymers and Dr. Mark Zablocki, RWDSU organizer Danie Tarrow, Barnes & Noble worker and activist Thaddeus Stoklasa, IFT staff Adam Heenan and AFSCME Council 31 representative Renee Nestler.
