Season of Solidarity: Giving Back Together
The holidays are a time to come together with family, friends, and broader community. When we give back, we strengthen the same bonds that hold our movement together: solidarity, compassion, and mutual care. Whether it’s donating to a toy or food drive, volunteering your time, or lending a hand to a neighbor, every act of generosity reminds us that we’re all part of something bigger.
Here are some efforts you can contribute to from our affiliates and friends of labor.
Pierce County Labor Community Services Agency Holiday Assistance Program

Last year, PCCLC affiliates helped 19 families and 33 children through our Holiday Assistance program.

From November 3–21, 2025, donations will be collected and distributed through
Emergency Food Network to help families facing food insecurity. Join United Way’s Curb Hunger Drive-Up & Drop-Off event on Friday, November 21, from 11am – 2pm.
