2025 Primary Election Endorsements

Ballots for the 2025 primary election are hitting mailboxes across Pierce County!

The Pierce County Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO, has been hard at work identifying candidates who stand with working people. Through our Committee on Political Education (COPE), union members dedicated dozens of hours to reviewing questionnaires and conducting in-depth interviews with candidates seeking public office.

After careful consideration, our delegate body voted to endorse the following candidates, individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to the values and priorities of working families in Pierce County:

Port of Tacoma Commissioner, Position 2

Port of Tacoma Commissioner, Position 4

Anders Ibsen
Mayor, City of Tacoma

Alisa Lee
Parks Tacoma, Position 1

Megan Sheridan
Mayor, City of Milton

Liz Grasher
Mayor, Town of Steilacoom

Emily Stone
Gig Harbor City Council, Position 3 

Deb Krishnadasan
Senate, 26th Legislative District
