Nathe Lawver

Nathe Lawver (he/him) serves as Secretary-Treasurer of the Pierce County Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO and is a proud member of LiUNA Laborers’ Local 252. With 18 years in the labor movement, Nathe brings deep experience in political organizing and labor communications, having previously served in communications and political director roles across primarily private-sector unions. He is driven by a firm belief that when working people come together through collective action and organizing, they can strengthen communities and build a more just future. Nathe is especially proud to help carry forward the rich legacy of the Pierce County Central Labor Council while working to grow its impact for future generations.

Nathe is actively engaged in regional civic and workforce development efforts. He serves as Chair of United Way of Pierce County and also contributes his leadership to the Pierce County Workforce Board, the Greater Tacoma Community Foundation Executive Board, and the Pierce County Economic Development Board, reflecting his commitment to building strong partnerships that expand opportunity across the region.

Rooted in Tacoma, Nathe enjoys spending time with his wife, kids, and dogs. Beyond his work and community service, you can find him reading, traveling, cooking, or enjoying a mix of all of the above.
