John L. Adams

John L. Adams serves as a Trustee of the Pierce County Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO and is a member of LiUNA Laborers’ Local 252, where he works as Business Manager and Secretary-Treasurer. With more than 37 years in the labor movement, John brings extensive experience in union leadership, workforce representation, and organizational stewardship, helping ensure strong advocacy and support for laborers across the region.

Through his role with LiUNA Local 252 (which represents workers across nine counties) John plays an active part in strengthening labor collaboration and regional solidarity. He serves as a delegate or board member to each of the five Central Labor Councils covering those counties, helping coordinate shared priorities, expand worker voice, and build partnerships that advance opportunities for working people throughout the broader South Sound and beyond.
