Brent Wagar

Brent Wagar (he/him/his) serves as an Executive Board Member of the Pierce County Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO and is a member of PROTEC17, a union representing public sector professionals who provide critical services that keep local communities running. He works as a Union Representative, advocating for fair treatment, strong wages, safe workplaces, and the resources public employees need to succeed both professionally and personally. With 13 years in the labor movement, Brent brings a collaborative and solutions-focused approach to strengthening worker voice across the public sector.

In addition to his role with PROTEC17, Brent contributes to broader labor coordination as Vice Chair of Tacoma Joint Labor. His work reflects a commitment to advancing equity and dignity in the workplace. Through his leadership on the Council and in his union, Brent remains dedicated to collective action.
