Participating organizations included Laborers Local 362, AFSCME Local 1110, Cement Masons 18, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 197, Amalgamated Transit Union Local 752, Bricklayers Local 6, the Illinois Federation of Teachers, the National Association of Letter Carriers Branch 522 and International Association of Fire Fighters Local 2442.

Local unions featured activities for children and families to participate in and had information on employment and union apprenticeships.
