Dozens of union volunteers helped serve families in need

Over 1800 children were served in the 41st annual Children's Christmas Party for families in need. The annual event is co-sponsored by the Bloomington & Normal Trade & Labor Assembly and the McLean County Chamber of Commerce, along with the Pantagraph, Midwest Food Bank and Business Builders.

Union volunteers from Laborers 362, AFSCME 699, United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 99 and The Newspaper Guild aided in packaging the toys, candy and fruit and then distributing them on Saturday, December 9 at the Midwest Food Bank.
