Bloomington Labor Day Parade - Labor Voices - Labor Votes - photo file

The 2024 Bloomington Labor Day Parade was the community’s largest parade.  The parade theme this year was “Labor Voices – Labor Votes.”

The parade featured union marching units, heavy construction equipment, community organizations, high school bands, the Illinois State University’s “Big Red Marching Machine” and elected officials plus candidates.

WJBC-AM's "Laborer of the Year" was Jean-Marie Taylor of the Illinois Federation of Teachers.
