40th Children's Christmas Party for low income families Dec 10

The 40th annual Children’s Christmas Party for McLean County low-income families will be held Saturday, December 10th from 9 a.m. – noon at the Midwest Food Bank, 2031 Warehouse Road in Normal. There will be a gift and food distribution along with a special guest appearance by Santa. This will be a drive-in, drive-out event and packages will be loaded in vehicles. Children are welcome but do not have to attend. Registration is required and can be accessed at shorturl.at/FGUY5.   Please sign up no later than Monday, December 5th. 

 

If you are unable to register online, please send an e-mail to bnchildrenschristmas@gmail.com or write to “Children’s Christmas,” Midwest Region Laborers, 2201 Eastland Drive, Suite #4.Bloomington IL 61704.   In the email message include the family’s name, address, phone number, the number of children ages 12 and under, and note the age of each child. The gender of each child may be listed if desired. Also those signing up should indicate what time (between 9 a.m.- noon) they will arrive.  

 

This event is sponsored by the McLean County Chamber of Commerce and the Bloomington & Normal Trades & Labor Assembly (AFL-CIO). For the last four decades, these groups have worked together to organize volunteers, engage donors, and delight local kids with a wonderful Christmas tradition.
