Except as otherwise provided in the By-Laws, any person, without regard to race, creed, color, national origin, sex, religion or political belief who meets one or more of the requirements listed in the By-Laws shall be eligible for membership in this Coalition. With this understanding, that one of the primary objectives of the Alabama CBTU is to organize all workers in to the trade union movement to improve their economic and social being and to strengthen the total trade union movement in our society.
