PUBLIC POST OFFICE DAY IN SPOKANE AND WASHINGTON STATE
NOVEMBER 27, 2020

For the third year in a row the Inland Empire Area Local 338 of the American Postal Workers along with other unions and community supporters of the United States Postal Service will be celebrating Public Post Office Day in Washington State and now the City of Spokane as well.

Public Post Office Day gives an opportunity for the people of Washington State to recognize the important role the United States Postal Service has played in our lives from its inception on July 26, 1775 through now and into the future.  The recent election which relied heavily on the Postal Service to deliver ballots to citizens and back to local election offices throughout the country gave one of the strongest reasons to keep the United States Postal Service as a Federal Government Agency and America’s Public Post Office.

Please join us in celebrating this important event so that we may never regret a day in the future where we would allow America’s Public Post Office to be privatized for the sole purpose to provide profits to private companies and not provide the Universal Service that Americans have relied upon since the inception of the U.S.A.

To attend, please add the following to your calendar and click the link at 1:30pm on Friday, November 27th.
