It is with great pride that the officers and Delegates of the Southwestern District Labor Council, AFL-CIO invite you to attend our Seventeenth Annual Labor Hall of Fame Awards Banquet. The theme for the banquet this year is “Unions For All”. This year’s banquet will be held in Huntington WV, on Saturday October 22nd, 2022 at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel located at 1001 3rd Ave, Huntington, WV 25701. Our Annual Banquet honors individuals who have respected working families throughout their careers. The honorees include union activists, politicians, as well as the business community leaders. The banquet will start with a reception beginning at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:00 pm. The awards ceremony will be held in the Grand Ballroom.
The Labor Hall of Fame Inductees are as follows:
- Sterling Ball: UFCW Local 400
- Lafe C. Chafin Award: Randy Moore USW District 8
- Dr.Stephen J.Kopp Honorary Inductees: Paul Davis Tri-State Transit Authority
