Register now for candidate training in Grand Rapids. Path to Power is a project of the AFL-CIO to identify, recruit and elect union members and pro-union candidates to local and state offices around Michigan.

The purpose is to shift the power in local and state government to favor stronger pro-worker policies, and develop a bench of candidiates to move into higher office.

Our campaign staff helps train candidates on how to form a committee, get on the ballot, write a field paln, communicate with voters, and build a winning camapign team.

Last November, we helped elect 54 candiates in every corner of the state, from Monroe to Marquette - including 2 state representatives and 14 Mayors.
