2017 Spring Salute!

Friends of Labor, attached is the announcement of the 7th annual Napa Solano Central Labor Council Spring Salute Awards Reception which will be held Friday March 31st at the Mare Island Museum. This year we have decided to announce the winner of our Lifetime Achievement Award in advance of the event. This year we will honor retired Vallejo Fire Captain and President Emeritus of Firefighters Local #1186 Frank Daniel. Franks dedication to the Labor Movement was unparalleled in the late 1970s through the 1990’s and his achievements for working people are much too long to outline here but will be celebrated at the reception! We will also honor members, affiliates, businesses, and community allies that go the extra mile for working men and women in Napa and Solano counties.

 This year’s event is being held on the birth date of Cesar Chavez and we will celebrate this Labor Icon by honoring our past, present and future labor warriors with awards. The rest of the award winners are kept secret until the event which is always sold out so get your RSVP’s in as soon as possible!
