The Solano County Workforce Development Board (WDB) hosts its Annual Fall Regional Career Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, at Fairfield’s One-Stop Career Center, 320 Campus Lane, organizers announced.

The WDB assists job seekers by providing networking opportunities, job listings, and job search assistance, they said. It also assists employers to support recruitment efforts, and has hosted Regional Career Fairs in Solano County for the past decade, they said.

"The WDB’s Regional Career Fairs continue to be one of the largest Career Fairs held in Solano County. These events are part of our on-going efforts to connect talented workers with regional employers," WDB’s Executive Director, Heather Henry said.

Job seekers will have the opportunity to meet recruiters from more 50 private and public sector employers from a variety of industries, all with current job openings, organizers said.

Job seekers should arrive at the start of the event to ensure they’ll have plenty of time to meet employer representatives, they said. Job seekers are also encouraged to dress professionally, be prepared for onsite interviews, and bring sufficient copies of their resume, as there are no copy services available on-site, they said.

The WDB offers Career Fair Preparation W orkshops where job seekers can receive resume reviews and learn how to maximize their time at the event.
