 Two of our endorsed candidates did not make it through the primary;

Greg Malinowski was defeated by Pam Treece for Washington County Commissioner District 2

Kimberly Culbertson was defeated by Jerry Willey for Washington County Commissioner District 4

 The Gresham City Council election is not until November 6th, we endorsed Councilor Mario Palmero.

 And we received a nice email from Jennifer McGuirk, candidate for Multnomah County Auditor, who is in a runoff election.

I'm feeling really good about the primary, and am getting ready to get it in gear for the general. I absolutely know that I would not have done so well without the support of union families. I am so grateful for the NW Oregon Labor Council's support! I had several people tell me they voted for me because I was on your slate on the front of the NW Labor Press. I know these individuals represent many more who chose me because I stand with labor.

I will be grateful to continue to have the Council's support in this next stage of the campaign. I would be happy to meet with the Council in the near future, if you'd like, to talk about my strategy, get feedback from you, etc.
