Nine Oregon public employees filed a lawsuit in the State Supreme court this month challenging the constitutionality of a bill passed by the Legislature that slashes public retirement benefits.

State Senator Mark Hass has confirmed he will not run for re-election, but is considering a run for Secretary of State instead, according to Pamplin Media. It also reports Washington County Commissioner Dick Schouten is looking to run for Hass' Senate seat. To read more, click here
