This Monday, November 11th, is Veterans Day, when we honor Americans who have served to preserve our freedom. The Union Veterans Council, led by Will Attig, plans to use the day reaching out a hand to help homeless veterans. With an estimated 400 homeless veterans in Washington, D.C., the Union Veterans Council and non-profit Veterans on the Rise will lead a joint foot patrol to provide immediate care kits and information on comprehensive recovery programs.
