Michigan Labor Press 2017 Spring Conference

 May 18 - 21, 2017

 Keep these dates open to attend this exciting educational conference.

This year’s conference will be held in beautiful Onaway, Michigan, at  the Walter and May Reuther UAW Family Education Center.

The goal of the Michigan Labor Press is to educate our brothers and sisters to publish and produce professional union newspapers and newsletters. This conference is designed to help new and seasoned publishers to sharpen their communication skills.

 The registration fee of $525 includes all conference meals and accommodations for three nights! You get a wonderful view of the Black Lake area and two full days of workshops covering all the newest forms of labor communications!

 Topics covered in the workshops will include: social media, web training, data recovery, writing and editing, photo composition and editing, and a video preparation workshop for the annual MLP Awards Banquet.

 Remember the conference dates and mark them on your calendar for 2017. The conference call letter will be mailed out in February with the full details of the conference class schedules.
