2019 Candidate Endorsements

The Metro Detroit AFL-CIO has endorsed the following candidates seeking local office this year in the November elections. All endorsement decisions were made by the Committee On Political Education (COPE).

“Working people are standing up and fighting back to protect our freedoms, our paychecks and our families,” said Daryl Newman, President of the Metro Detroit AFL-CIO. “For us to continue to make progress, to create a sustainable economy that works for everyone, we need elected officials at every level who will stand up and fight with us. I am thankful for the work of the COPE members in helping us identify the candidates who will best support working families in our region.”
