Union Candidate Recruitment & Training

Have you ever thought about running for an elected office such as city council/commission, school board, or county council/commission?  Do you ever wonder what you will need to do to get on the ballot and to WIN?

Well, the Broward County AFL-CIO, and your Union, is hosting an informational recruitment and training session where you will learn about fundraising, grassroots organizing, basics to getting on the ballot and more.  The goal of this training is for YOU to see what it takes to be a successful candidate and possibly be invited to a more intense Farm Team candidate training in the future with the support and resources of unions across the state.

This training is only open to union members or union retirees.

 When:       Saturday, August 12, 2017

Time:        11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Where:      Broward County AFL-CIO,
